As a high school graduate with aspirations to become a nurse, Brock Worden chose Northwest State because of the prestigious nursing program, knowing that NSCC graduates continue to score high on the NCLEX (nursing licensing exam).

“I chose Northwest State because I knew I would graduate with the knowledge and the skills I would need later on in life,” Brock shares. “The instructors here are terrific and are so willing to help. They push you to your limits because you are going to be taking care of a person someday. They expect you to work your hardest.”

Brock, a recipient of a full-tuition Presidential Scholarship, is grateful that Northwest State is providing him with the experience and skills needed to become a successful RN.
