NSCC_BrittanyBrittany Rodriguez earned an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from NSCC in 2013. She took college prep courses in high school, helping her gain valuable college credits.

“At Northwest State, it was much more affordable (compared to a four-year college or university) for me to pursue my degree and get a start out in the real world,” Brittany said. Being a female in engineering, Brittany anticipated good career opportunities by remaining in this field of study. Brittany continues to balance work and education; she earned her bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Miami University and is working on her master’s degree in Engineering Management at Ohio University. She currently works as a mechanical engineer at General Motors.
